Mostly Tomatos again sponsored and partnered with the United Way of Greater Atlanta in conjunction with the Early Literacy Celebration by donating 1,500 Pre-K books, which put two-three brand new books in the hands of 450 children to increase their learning at home. Mostly Tomatos also provided 20-25 new books to the 20 Pre-K classes to help them increase enrichment in their classrooms.
At the footsteps of the historic DeKalb County Courthouse is where Mostly Tomatos spent their 2016 Labor Day weekend. We were there to participate in the ninth annual AJC Decatur Book Festival in Decatur, Ga. It was awesome to feel much energy to promote reading and literacy.
Labor Day weekend means one thing around the Mostly Tomatos household – it's time to visit Hotlanta for the Decatur Book Festival. We will be in historic Decatur, Ga., for the largest independent book festival in the country and one of the five largest overall. The event brings in world-class authors and thousands of patrons to the annual Labor Day weekend event. There are book signings, author readings, panel discussions, interactive children's area, live music, cooking demonstrations, poetry slams, writing, workshops, parades and US!
