Ride for Reading’s October Nashville delivery to Buena Vista School featured a pro cyclist, a chicken, and a number of volunteers dressed as their favorite children’s book character.
We delivered to over 300 children at the North Nashville school. The delivery also saw Ride for Reading deliver its 500,000th book – fittingly titled “A Bike for You.”
Pro cyclist, author, and speaker, Amy Charity, joined the delivery, as did Nashville Sounds’ mascot, Booster. There were Things 1 and 2, a Cat in the Hat, a Lorax, a cowardly lion, and much, much more!
